I am Maggie Davis, and I am very excited to be starting my 8th year at Central Elementary teaching
3rd and 4th grade Multi-Age! I am a graduate of Nevada, and I think it is a delight to be back in my home
town teaching. After Nevada High School, I attended Northwest Missouri State University down in
Maryville, Missouri and graduated 4 years later. At Northwest I studied Elementary Education with an emphasis
on language arts and reading. I just completed my Master's Degree from Drake University and graduated in May, 2016.
I am the youngest of 3 girls, and I love being an aunt! My oldest sister lives in St. Charles, Missouri
with my nephews. Will and Michael are cute and full of energy at the ages of 8 and 6, and I love to share
stories with my classroom students about them. My middle sister lives in Tampa, Florida and works at the University of South Florida teaching college students who want to become teachers. I learn several things from my sister and
love to use her ideas and resources in the classroom. My parents live in Maxwell, and I enjoy seeing them often
and working on projects and gardening at their house.
Outside of school I really enjoy reading, playing golf, spending time with family and friends, going to movies and experiencing music through singing and playing the guitar.
I look forward to the year ahead with new learning opportunities and experiences!
